Isla Mujeres. – Dos hombres fueron detenidos la tarde de este viernes en Costa Mujeres, luego de que un grupo de cinco sujetos presuntamente amedrentara a conductores de la aplicación de transporte Uber, con la intención de obligar a los usuarios a abordar taxis del sindicato Gustavo Díaz Ordaz.
De acuerdo con reportes preliminares, los hechos ocurrieron sobre la carretera Punta Sam–Isla Blanca, donde cinco hombres descendieron de una camioneta Chevrolet Captiva, color rojo, para rodear una unidad de Uber y amenazar al conductor frente a los pasajeros. El momento fue captado en video por uno de los usuarios, lo que permitió evidenciar la agresión.
Reacción de las autoridades
Tras la denuncia realizada al número de emergencias 911, elementos de la Policía Municipal implementaron un operativo de búsqueda y lograron ubicar el vehículo señalado. En la unidad viajaban únicamente dos de los implicados, quienes fueron asegurados y puestos a disposición del Ministerio Público.
Fuentes extraoficiales señalaron que al interior del vehículo podrían haberse encontrado dosis de estupefacientes y armas de fuego, aunque hasta el momento no existe un pronunciamiento oficial sobre dicho hallazgo.
